How to prepare
Microwave – Heat from Frozen
- Remove film from tray. Remove Naan which is under the tikka masala pouch. Defrost tikka masala in the refrigerator or immerse sealed pouch in cold water for a few minutes.
- Cut open one end of the pouch and empty contents of pouch into tray or microwave- safe container. Cover with film.
- Heat for 2 minutes if defrosted, 3 minutes if still frozen.
- Caution: contents may be hot. Stir and re-heat if required.
- Heat naan in microwave for 30 seconds if defrosted, 40–60 seconds if frozen. (Do not overheat naan.) Garnish naan with butter, garlic and/or herbs.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and enjoy chicken tikka masala with naan.
Convection Oven – Heat from Frozen
- Pre-heat oven to 375ºF/190ºC. Remove film from tray and remove Naan which is under the tikka masala pouch. Defrost tikka masala in the refrigerator or immerse sealed pouch in cold water for a few minutes.
- Cut open one end of the pouch and empty contents of pouch into tray or oven-safe container.
- Place on oven tray, cover with film and heat for 15 minutes if defrosted, 20 minutes if still frozen.
- Stir and re-heat if required. Tray will be hot, use caution when removing from oven.
- Heat naan in pre-heated oven for 5–7 minutes. Garnish naan with butter, garlic and/or herbs. (Do not overheat naan as it will become hard and/or dry.)
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and enjoy chicken tikka masala with naan.
